Lea Associates is seeking a qualified and experienced Assistant Bridge Engineer for its Mugaiyur – Marakkanam Section (NHAI) Project located in Mahabalipuram / Pondicherry, Tamil Nadu. This is a full-time position requiring a B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering and a minimum of 3 years of experience in bridge construction, preferably on major highway construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the execution and supervision of bridge construction activities.
- Monitor construction work to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, consultants, and project teams.
- Supervise bridge-related construction activities and monitor daily progress.
- Review drawings and assist in resolving technical and site-related issues.
- Ensure proper quality standards are maintained during construction.
- Monitor construction materials, workmanship, and site activities.
- Maintain site records, measurements, inspection reports, and progress documentation.
- Support the senior engineering team in planning and executing bridge works.
- Ensure construction activities follow applicable safety and project standards.
Eligibility & Skills:
- B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in bridge construction.
- Experience in major highway construction projects is required.
- Good understanding of bridge construction and site execution.
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively at a project site.
