We are urgently hiring a Civil Engineer for a 6 to 7-month contract role at our Markal, Pune site. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in Civil Engineering with 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in civil construction, road construction, and infrastructure projects. Key responsibilities include supervising day-to-day road construction and civil activities, preparing and checking BOQ and quantity estimates, and taking precise site measurements for excavation, earthwork, PCC, RCC, concrete, road layers, and drainage. You will also be responsible for preparing quantity calculations, verifying contractor measurements and bills, and monitoring construction to ensure alignment with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Additionally, you will check levels, dimensions, slopes, gradients, thickness, alignment, and road formation. Coordination with contractors, vendors, supervisors, and workers is essential, as is monitoring the consumption of materials like cement, sand, aggregate, steel, and concrete. You must maintain daily progress reports, measurement sheets, and site documentation while ensuring safety, housekeeping, and proper work practices. Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, BOQ, Estimation, Billing, Quantity Surveying, and Civil Measurements is required. Candidates must be willing to work at the Markal site.
