Cabcon India Limited is hiring a Graduate Engineer Trainee (Electrical) for its office located in New Town, Kolkata, West Bengal. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates in Electrical Engineering who are looking to build a career in costing, estimation, tendering, technical documentation, and cable manufacturing.
As a Graduate Engineer Trainee, your key responsibilities will include preparing detailed cost estimates for cable enquiries and tenders, which covers materials, manufacturing/process costs, and packing costs. You will study and review customer drawings and technical specifications, ensuring compliance with IS/IEC standards. Additionally, you will coordinate with the plant team for feasibility checks, maintain accurate costing and quotation records, and prepare MIS reports. You will also support the team in overall tendering, costing, and technical evaluation activities.
To be eligible, candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. You should have a good understanding of electrical cables and related products, knowledge of IS/IEC standards, and the ability to read engineering drawings. Strong analytical, numerical, communication, and coordination skills are required, along with proficiency in MS Excel.
