Cabcon India Limited is hiring for the position of Graduate Engineer Trainee (Electrical) at our office in New Town, Kolkata, West Bengal. Established in 1991, Cabcon India Limited is an ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturer, supplier, and exporter of aluminium and HTLS conductors, HT/LT power and control cables, and solutions for electrical transmission and distribution. Since 2010, we have also expanded into EPC services, undertaking rural electrification and turnkey projects involving power lines and sub-station installations.
As a Graduate Engineer Trainee (Electrical) in the Costing & Estimation department, your key responsibilities will include preparing cost estimates for cable enquiries (including materials, process, packing, and other associated costs), studying and reviewing customer drawings, specifications, and technical requirements, and checking product compliance with applicable IS/IEC standards. You will coordinate with the plant and production teams to assess manufacturing feasibility, support the preparation and submission of commercial quotations, maintain accurate costing and quotation records, and prepare MIS reports.
We are looking for Fresh Graduates in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering. Candidates should have a good understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals, basic knowledge of IS/IEC standards, proficiency in MS Excel, and strong communication skills.
