Maintenance Engineer

PTI is hiring a Maintenance Engineer for its Administration Department in New Delhi. Reporting directly to the Head of Administration, the Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the comprehensive maintenance of the building, Civil Repair, centralized HVAC systems, DG sets, electrical infrastructure, plumbing, fire & lift safety systems, and coordination with tenants to ensure uninterrupted building operations. Key responsibilities include monitoring HVAC operations (chillers, AHUs, cooling towers, pumps, ventilation), optimizing performance for energy efficiency, and coordinating annual servicing. The role also involves monitoring daily solar generation and panel cleaning schedules for the Solar Power Plant, ensuring operational readiness of Fire & Life Safety systems (Fire Alarm, Hydrant, Sprinkler, Fire Pumps, Smoke Management, Emergency Lighting), and coordinating mock drills. Additionally, the engineer will manage water supply and plumbing networks, attend to tenant maintenance complaints within defined SLAs, maintain detailed documentation (Preventive Maintenance Checklists, Breakdown Records, Daily Engineering Logbook, Energy/Utility Consumption Reports, Vendor Performance Reports, Asset Register), and ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) practices. Candidates must possess a Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering with 3–5 years of experience in commercial office buildings, IT parks, corporate offices, or mixed-use developments. Certification in HVAC, Fire Safety, or Energy Management is an advantage. Technical skills in BMS, HVAC, Fire Fighting, MEP Maintenance, and CMMS are highly desired.
