BuildHr is hiring a Procurement Manager on behalf of a prestigious client in the Integrated Textile & Fabric Manufacturing industry. This is a full-time position based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The ideal candidate must have a mandatory minimum of 10 years of experience in the textile or fabric industry. Key responsibilities include identifying, evaluating, and sourcing fabrics, trims, raw materials, and other production requirements. You will onboard and develop vendors, manage supplier performance (focusing on quality, delivery, pricing, and service), and conduct market research for cost-saving initiatives. Additionally, you will coordinate with internal teams like Design, Production, and Merchandising, negotiate pricing and contracts, and ensure all materials meet quality standards. Required qualifications include a B.E./B.Tech in Textile Technology, Textile Engineering, Apparel Technology, Fashion Technology, or any degree with a Diploma in Textile/Fabric/Apparel.
