Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using Jobs Shala. By accessing or using the platform you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1 Definitions
- “Platform” means the Jobs Shala website, mobile experience, and all related services operated by Jobs Shala Technologies Pvt. Ltd..
- “Employer” means any company, recruiter, or individual who creates an employer account to post job listings or access candidate information.
- “Seeker” means any individual who creates a job-seeker account to browse listings, apply for roles, or interact with employers.
- “Content” means all text, data, graphics, images, and other material submitted to or displayed on the Platform.
2 Acceptance of Terms
By registering an account, posting a job, submitting an application, or otherwise using the Platform, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a binding contract.
- If acting on behalf of an organisation, you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
- All information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.
3 Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at legal@replykaro.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
You may not share your account, create multiple accounts for the same individual or entity, or impersonate any person or organisation.
4 Employer Obligations
- All job postings must represent genuine, currently open vacancies at the time of posting.
- Listings must not be deceptive, discriminatory, fraudulent, or violate any applicable law.
- Employers may only contact applicants for the purpose of evaluating their application for the posted role.
- Employers must not request fees, sensitive financial information, or Aadhaar/PAN numbers during the hiring process through the Platform.
- Employers are solely responsible for employment decisions and must comply with all applicable labour laws, including the Equal Remuneration Act, 1976, and the Maternity Benefit Act, 1961.
5 Seeker Obligations
- Profile information, resumes, and application responses must be truthful and not plagiarised.
- You may not apply for positions you are not genuinely interested in or not qualified for in order to game Platform metrics.
- You agree not to use employer contact information obtained through the Platform for unsolicited marketing or spam.
6 Prohibited Conduct
You must not:
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Platform without written permission.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Platform.
- Introduce malware, viruses, or any harmful code.
- Use automated bots to create accounts, submit applications, or perform any action at scale.
- Post content that is obscene, defamatory, threatening, or in violation of third-party intellectual property rights.
- Circumvent technical measures that restrict or control access to any part of the Platform.
7 Intellectual Property
All Platform software, design, trade marks, and compiled data are the property of Jobs Shala Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and protected under Indian and international intellectual property law. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Platform solely for its intended purpose.
By submitting Content (job postings, resumes, messages), you grant Jobs Shala Technologies Pvt. Ltd. a worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, and process that Content to operate the Platform and improve our services.
8 Disclaimers
The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that job listings are accurate or that use of the Platform will result in employment. We are not a party to any employment agreement between an Employer and a Seeker.
9 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jobs Shala Technologies Pvt. Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed ₹5,000.
10 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jobs Shala Technologies Pvt. Ltd., its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, or damages (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your Content, or your violation of these Terms.
11 Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law. You may close your account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.
12 Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
13 Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
